The Zhongxing 6E satellite is developed by the fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation Limited. It adopts the Dongfanghong 4 enhanced satellite platform independently developed by China. It is equipped with multi-frequency broadcast communication loads such as C and Ku, and the fourth generation digital transparent processing technology is used for the first time. This is a new generation of radio and television transmission satellite in China, which will replace Zhongxing 6B, and undertake the mission of broadcasting, with a design life of 14.2 years. On the basis of meeting the needs of C-band radio and television transmission services, it comprehensively considers the carrying capacity and frequency band resources of the satellite platform, and builds KU and Ka high-throughput resources with digital processing capacity. At the same time, it will also realize the first fourth-generation digital transparent processing technology and Ku high-throughput load demonstration application. After the in-orbit test, Zhongxing 6E satellite will be operated and managed by China Satcom, a subsidiary of Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It is planned to be east longitude 115.5 degrees. Its radio and television resources mainly cover China, Southeast Asia, Australia and other regions, and its communication resources mainly cover China's land and territorial waters, Central Asia and South Asia. The radio and television resources of Zhongxing 6E satellite mainly cover China, Southeast Asia, Australia and other regions, while the communication resources mainly cover China's land and territorial sea, and Central Asia and South Asia, which will provide important support for the joint construction of "Belt and Road", new infrastructure and digital China. The Long March-3 B carrier rocket was developed by the First Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. The rocket is the first application of the special development and implementation of the "double improvement" of the series model, which is of milestone significance for the development of the model. The geosynchronous transfer orbit rocket has a carrying capacity of 5.55 tons and 74 improvements. The mission was developed and managed according to the first flight model.
